Community Service

Robert Hanna is of Assyrian origin and has been an active volunteer for the Assyrian community in Canada. He was the President of Assyrian Society of Canada (1983 - 1986) and chair of Board of Trustees (1987 - 1999). He continues to provide support to the Assyrian community on an as-requested basis. Also, he was a board member of the Canadian Society for Syriac Studies (www.chass.utoronto.ca/~csss).
